Why Dhanraj praised Sachin Tendulkar

Former Indian hockey player Dhanraj Pillay visited Kolhapur for an event organised to felicitate hockey players and help drought victims.
Several school and college hockey players who are fans of the former captain of the Indian hockey team gathered to interact with him. He obliged by signing autographs and posing for pictures.
"Hockey in Kolhapur has a bright future.The young players are very talented. If they are provided with the necessary facilities and the much needed Astroturf, then the players will get a proper platform to give their best for the country," Dhanraj said.
He urged everyone to accept the changes in the game.
"Most importantly, players should have patience and faith in themselves and the game. One should always stay grounded and not let success affect you. A perfect example of this is cricket player Sachin Tendulkar," he added.
